New UW Idea....
Hi there,
Since there is no more expansion comming (as far we know) for GW-1, I was thinking to keep us motivated, for playing GW untill GW-2, why not make UW bigger.
Suggestion 1:
Like we all know, UW has 5 area's, with all core prof's. In the past there was a discussion about that secret door, in the back in Ice Wastes.... why not making 4 new area's inside UW? Make an area for Paragon, Dervish, Assassin and Ritualist.....
Suggestion 2:
After you have done all the quests, you get back to the chamber and you getting your stuff out of the UW chest. When you have completed this, you unlock a Elite mission/quest inside UW. This behind the big secret door. When you completed this Elite, there will be a chest spawning named "Chest of Grenth" (or something like this)
Let me know what u all think about this

Something I would love to see implemented.
An addition to FoW and UW, a second level if you will, that acts similar to Sorrow's Furnace and DoA, where we finish with killing of Dhuum for UW and Menzies for FoW.

not so sure that i agree with your exact ideas, but would be great to see something else implemented into the game.... ANOTHER SORROWS FURNACE!

Immunity to Touch Skills would render Ursans useless, but not ruin it for the rest of us Warriors, Sins and Dervishes, Rangers and Paragons. :P

You realize even somthing like an addition to UW/FoW is the same caliber of work as an expansion? New maps, new monsters, pathing, chests, etc. would all have to be implemented. Anet said there will be no more additions, so why waste time with a suggestion they already said won't happen?
I like the idea of more content, but I'm not signing something Anet already said 'no' to.

I don't understand why these are considered to be expansions by some people.... idiotic.
To me an expansion is something HUGE AND MASSIVE. All new worlds, skills, etc.
Sorrow's furnace and DoA are simply free additions. We could sure use another one right about now ;P
I mean honestly. SF is only 2 maps. TWO! Grenth's footprint and the actual furnace itself.
DoA is the domain of anguish and then the actual DoA enemy area itself which is just ONE giant map broken up into 4-5 pieces.
UW is one big map
FoW is one big map.
It's not like its some EPIC undertaking to make one single new map compared to making an expansion or new campaign. Jeez!
You would think Anet would throw us something spectacular to keep our interests up while they work on GW2. But Anet's record with GW is... "We hear your cries, but we won't answer them for a VERY long time."
Like having helmets in towns/outposts. For those who were not around before that time. It used to be your helmet didnt show in towns/outposts. We had to suggest and ask for it for quite a while ^.^ something so simple X.x especially being the rest of your armor showed anyway.
One last epic area like I suggested. Dwayna's realm (on another thread) with either armor or weapons (though i'd actually probably go for some holy dwayna-ish armor. tired of the super-uber armor being all spiky and stuff)

And where do theyget the money to pay the programmers, testers, script writers, etc. to do these 'free additions'? As I said, I would love to have more content.... but Anet has to pay people to make them.... and if it is a 'free addition' they won't have money to pay them with.

Adding a Elite quest (not area), isn't an expansion. I do not mean something like a new sorrow furnace, maybe as quest, something like.... "Find Grenth and his servants and kill them" Then Grenth should be a lvl 35 or something
Servents can be like 5 Black Widows that are lvl 28 with skills --> just a thought
